Very attractive native oxygenator that looks like a delicate browny-green seaweed.  Grows to the surface to flower then dies back after flowering.

This excellent native oxygenating plant – curly pond weed – tolerates moving water and shade, but struggles to compete with elodea canadensis.

Top tip:-  Never to be confused with potamogeton natans which is very invasive and impossible to control!
