Description
Eriophorum angustifolium produces white fluffy seed heads which from a distance, look like flowers.
Top tip: Grows equally well in water and wet soil.
Flowers: Insignificant flowers in early Spring later produce the ‘cotton wool’ seed heads.
Height: 15-70cm
Propagation: Plants can be split and those with root runners grown on throughout the year.
Depth of water over the soil: 0-10cm
Planting: Plant into 5/10lt planting crate using heavy garden loam or Westland Aquatic Soil
